The Marietta Soccer League will be hosting its 21th annual tournament on May 19 & 20, 2012. The tournament is sanctioned by the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association, a USSF affiliate.
ENTRY DEADLINE: All entries must be completed and postmarked by April 15, 2012. An entry fee of $350(U-8) $375.00(U-9, U-10) $425 (U-11, U-12) $450 (U13, U-14) must accompany all applications. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Marietta Soccer League. Teams not accepted will have their entry fee refunded with their notification. All fees will be forfeited if a team drops out of the tournament after the notification date of April 20, 2012.
ELIGIBILITY: A maximum of 18 USYSA players for age groups U13 and above may be registered per team. For age group u11 and U12 a maximum roster size of 14 will be accepted. For age groups U9 and U10 a maximum roster size of 12 will be accepted. Each team must submit a validated league roster and player passes at registration. Teams outside of Ohio South must have a validated travel permit (please note: The West Virginia Soccer Association will issue travel permits for this tournament). No player will be allowed to play on more than one team during the tournament. Tournament rules allow three guest players. Registration will be held on Friday, May 1, 2000, at the Comfort Inn in Marietta.
SITES: All games will be played at the Marietta Soccer Complex located five miles north of Marietta or other fields as needed.
PLAY: Competition will be held in boys U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 and Girls U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 age divisions. Each team will play a minimum of three (3) preliminary games, Championship games will be played Sunday afternoon.
AWARDS: Team and individual trophies will be awarded to each first and second place team U8 through U14 in Boys, and U8 through U14 in Girls divisions.
